Restoring replaces the current files with the ones in the backup. It's the fix for a broken update, a bad mod or a griefed world, as long as you do it carefully.
From the panel
- Pick the right backup
Choose the most recent backup from before the problem started.
- Make a backup of the current state first
If you have a free backup slot, save the current state too. If the restore isn't what you expected, you can still go back.
- Restore it
Use the restore action on that backup in the panel's Backups tab and wait for it to finish.
- Start and check
Start the server, join and confirm the world is how you expected.
Everything since that backup is lost: builds, items and player progress. Tell your players before you restore.
