PerformanceNitrado:PerformanceSaver is one of the plugins the official manual recommends. It dynamically limits view distance based on resource usage.
Why it helps
View distance is the main driver of RAM usage. A fixed low value makes the game feel cramped all the time; a plugin that lowers it only when the server is struggling keeps the view wide when there's room and protects the server when there isn't.
