When to move your Hytale server to a bigger plan

Tuning view distance and mods goes a long way. When the server still struggles after that, the honest fix is more resources.

Time to upgrade when…

  • Memory stays near the limit even with a reasonable view distance (12 chunks or less).
  • CPU is high during normal evenings, not just at a single event.
  • Your community has grown or you've added mods you don't want to give up.

What happens when you upgrade

You move to the bigger plan from the billing area and only pay the difference for the time left in the month. Your server and its files stay as they are.
