Errors & fixesWhen the server stops right after starting, the console almost always says why in its last lines. Read them first, then go through this list.
Check in this order
- The last lines of the console
Look for the first error, not the last one: later errors are often consequences of the first.
- A recently added mod
If it broke after adding a mod, move it out of
mods/and start again. - Early plugins
If you turned on «Accept Early Plugins», turn it off and remove those plugins to rule them out.
- A recent update
Mods built for the previous version are the usual suspects after an update.
- Memory
An out-of-memory error means the server needs less load or more RAM.
The Hytale server needs Java 25; our servers already run it. If you see a Java version error, open a ticket.
